Greg, my brother brought her a bagel and coffee. Tom got up early this morning and cleaned her fresh peaches, strawberries and grapes. We thought it would be easier on us and on Mom if she had breakfast in her studio apartment instead of going downstairs to the main dinning room. Our lawyer came in and gave her a great talk about putting all her assets in a trust fund, and this will help her to get her Veteran's to help with some of the rent money for American House. My dad was a veteran, and he came home with a lot of health issues. We did not know Veteran's would help the spouses too until Mom's doctor told us.
I stayed out of the meeting as much as I could. My brother, Tom, and Farrah, our lawyer did all the talking to Mom. It was another day that Mom did not like me and starting her Armenian cussing at me. I am used to it, but my brother could not believe how mean and cruel she was towards me. Mom kept telling them how she has taught for 100 years, it used to be 25 years. Mom must of said that statement twenty -five times. She also kept saying that anything Greg wants she will do it because he is her favorite.
In the beginning her attitude towards me made me have some crying times, but now I just keep saying she has no idea what she is doing or saying. Danielle, one of the staff from American House came in give her a shower. She looked at my brother and he told her she needed to take the shower now. If I was the only one there it would of been completely the opposite regarding her shower. After her shower we took her in the dinning room for her big meal. It was so adorable watching her walk in and people greeting her with a friendly Hello, Miss Lucy. She also went up to certain people and gave them a special hello. One man with such a sweet smile towards her, took her hand and kissed it. Mom loved that touch of sweetness from the man. She kept her hand out for one more kiss on her hand. My brother and I could not believe what we had seen.
Greg , Tom and I decided to say goodbye seeing once she is down there eating and talking she would not need us to be with her. We said goodbye with a big hug and a kiss. When Mom found out Faye was going to sit with her at her table, Mom looked at me and said in Armenian that woman drives me crazy. All of us think that Faye is such a sweetheart. I think Faye gets her mad because Faye tells her to eat all her food on Mom's plate. Mom does not like anyone telling her want to do.
Mom loves drinking her coffee, and also loved her cokes.
Mom listening to every word her lawyer is telling her. I know deep down she has no idea what is going on but she wants us to think she does.
