Relaxing in the Wicker Room with Mama Lucy Lou and the Buds

Today at the Gilbert Residence a few of the Buds from Grace Hall went to the Wicker Room. They held hands and walked down the halls of the Gilbert Residence to the Wicker Room. Elicia told them once they get there they will see many pretty trees, and birds flying by the windows.When they got there they we were thirsty and Elicia gave them so cold water. One adorable Bud said it was time for a cigarette, and we all laughed including her. 

They noticed a beautiful flower growing by the window. We found out from Chandra that it was Dahlia. and it was a beautiful,reddish pink. Chandra works at the Gilbert Residence and she knows so much about the flowers that grow there. 

Many of the Buds seemed so relaxed in the Wicker Room, and a couple of them kept saying how nice and clean the room was.We heard some jokes, and everyone thought the jokes were so funny. Elicia told everyone about the garden her grandmother had when Elicia was little. The Buds really loved her story, you could tell that they enjoyed it by all their smiles they had.

Elicia soon told the adorable Buds that they needed to get back because they were invited to a birthday party. You should of seen their big smiles. They must of known they would be eating cake and ice-cream. Pauline was the engine to our line and we all held each others hands and walked back to Grace Hall. We might not have gone far, but everyone sure had fun in the Wicker Room. One Bud kept saying that this trip was fun!

Grace Hall Ice-cream Social and Julie's Birthday Party - Lucy Lou loves parties.

Today, at Gilbert Residence there was a lot of fun going on at Grace Hall. First, it was Julie's Birthday Party and an Ice-Cream Social. Every one was smiling and enjoying the yummy cake and ice-cream.

After the party a bunch of the adorable Grace Hall Buds played a game that made them laugh and giggle.Elicia and the staff did another successful event like they always do.

Music and fun with Miss Debbie and Lucy Lou loving to sing..

Today, maybe a very gloomy, and rainy day here in Michigan.... but at the Gilbert Residence at Grace Hall Miss Debra the amazing singer had everyone singing and even dancing. If the cute Buds did not sing or dance... they were smiling all over the place.. It may have been gloomy outside but lots of sunshine and happiness inside.

Fourth Of July at Grace Hall.. with pretty hats and homemade drinks.. they helped make.

It was such a sunny and happy day for all the Grace Hall Buds.. or should I say the cute Northern Bells and Gentlemen with their cute hats. Elicia and the fabulous staff made lemonade, they had to mull the fruit, and squeeze the lemons. They even had a little science lesson on their senses. Elicia made with them raspberry, blueberry,and lemon drinks. The one that was their favorite was raspberry. After they enjoyed making and drinking the drinks, they ended up with a refreshing red, white and blue popsicle. It was such a fun day for everyone including Tom and I. Oh ... before I forget the best part of their fourth of July were the napkins. They all thought the napkins were cool especially George. They had hamburgers, and hotdogs for lunch. I know I keep letting you all know how blessed I am having Mom there. I thank God every day... for her being there and for the loving staff at the Gilbert Residence for the care they give to everyone there. Its such a happy place....
