A Great Day for Fried Chicken....

Today was sort of a gloomy day to start off the weekend. We went to visit Mom with all kinds of fresh cut fruits, and we also brought her favorite fried chicken from Lee's in Plymouth. She is like a little girl when she sees fried chicken. She loves fried chicken, and I can still remember how delicious her fried chicken was when she made dinner for us kids.

When we got to her apartment she was downstairs in the dinning room finishing her lunch. She got her haircut and she looked so cute. It was great seeing her happy and talking to everyone. She ate pretty well, especially her chocolate dessert at the end of her lunch. While I sat there so many of the Oldies and Goodies wanted their photos to be taken so I could put it in the book that everyone is talking about.

This lady got up just for me to take her photo..

These two helpers are so nice to Mom and everyone else. They both always have such nice smiles every time I see them.

This is Grace who is the professional clown..
My Tom , Mom, and smiling Carl...

Mom loves the handy man... she keeps telling us he is Armenian.

Mom loves going up and down the stairs. She keeps telling me its healthy for everyone to walk up and down the stairs then take the elevator. Mom does not take the elevator because she does not know what floor she is on.

Mom enjoying her fried chicken, and fresh fruit. Look at that face when she sees the chicken.

Cathy, Mom, and Grace. These are three wonderful DIVA'S!

We got up to go with Mom, and Mom had to say goodbye to Cathy, Cathy is in charge of American House, and also she is a family friend. Cathy was getting ready to go home. While Mom was saying goodbye and giving her lots of hugs and kisses we met sweet Grace. Grace was once a professional clown. Yes...now Mom told everyone she once was a clown too.

Mom was so happy to see us. Her hair looks adorable..... Right?

This lady just turned 100 and something today. I wished her a Happy Birthday and I asked her how old she was? She replied all I can remember is that I am older than a 100, and older then most of the you here with a smile.

These people all wanted their photos taken so they could have them in the book.

Mom's chocolate dessert... yes.. she ate it all.

One of the lunch helpers, and she loves Mom.

This lady is one hundred years old and always wears a hat while she eats.

Another lunch helper... these helpers are fabulous for all the Oldies and Goodies. They know all their names, and makes sure they all eat what is on their plates.

This lady is another Dot ... she always wants her picture taken and looks for her photos in the book.

We left Mom in her apartment enjoying her chicken and fruit. It was a great feeling to leave her today with her smiling, being so happy, and her new haircut. We are so blessed to still have her.... so many people have their Mom's as angels in Heaven. Our Mom is still an angel but an angel that still loves life and helping others.
