Tom and I took her outside on the deck hoping she would stop being grumpy and enjoy the nice weather outside. Once the door opened to go on the deck everyone wanted to come out. It was so funny to see one at time as they came out the door. They reminded me of little ducklings going to the pond. Once everyone was outside Mom had to fix everyone's tops or slacks. I guess she wanted everyone to look their best. Once she sat down again she could not understand what she was suppose to do outside? I tried to explain to her why we were outside, but she just kept talking to me in Armenian. This was not a good sign again for me.
Mom then saw her friend Helen, and took her hand and said goodbye to me. I guess she wanted me to leave, then the two of them started their walking. We were about to leave and someone came up to me and asked me if I know who she is? My former students know I am old. ... 67 is almost close to 70. Anyway.. one of my former student who I had in my classroom at Cheney in Willow Run is working there now. Her name is Armesha Shaw. She still has that amazing smile that makes you want to smile back at her. We just kept hugging each other, and I was so happy to know she was working there. I know she will be such an asset to all the oldies and goodies there. She had a loving heart when I had her as a fourth grader and her heart is bigger now with more love to share with everyone.
