Lucy With Helen.. their amazing friendship..

Tom and I went to see Mom at the Gilbert Residence. She came home yesterday from the hospital. There are still people sick there so we had to wear masks. The support staff said they were so happy to have their Lucy Lou back. Mom told me that she was so happy that she was home. Gosh.. that made me have goosebumps when she told me that. She still has problems when she talks but thats okay with me. Just as long as she is Happy .. safe and comfortable.

When we got there she was napping in her room, but was up. She was so excited to see us and wanted to get up out of bed. We got her out and walked in the gathering room. Mom spotted Helen and had to go and sit next to her. I am so blessed.. Mom is better and Mom has such awesome support staff that are taking such good care of her. Most of the staff are Willow Run Family, too. 

When Tom and I left we saw Roz Erby and Nancy Taylor, two teacher friend's of mine. They were finishing cleaning up from having a tea party on the other section of the building.They both got excited to hear Mom was there. They are both planning to visit her soon. 

Mom and her friend Helen are amazing friends.. Helen cannot hear, and Mom with her dementia... and their friendship is made with pure love......
